Good evening Marines.
With the DragonCon 2008 parade only 2 weeks away, I felt it was imperative that I snap to and follow through with producing the black parade armbands in honor of our fellow Marine and good friend -- Chris Chulamanis.
Blank armbands will be going to the printer on Monday August 18th, but here is a digital mock-up to show everyone the art, layout, and aspect ratio when these are completed.
I currently have enough material to produce 42 armbands, but I am thinking about procuring more tomorrow just because I want to make sure everyone that has signed up for the
DragonCon 2008 Parade is covered. I understand that not everyone participating in the parade knew Chris, nor do I expect them to feel obligated to wear a black armband in his memory.
All of those who have either PM'd me or otherwise voiced an interest in these please post here a.s.a.p. so I can begin to get an accurate tally.
The cost per printed armband will be
$6.00 USD. Due to the short amount of time between now and DragonCon, I will bring everyone's armbands and distribute them prior to the parade. I would appreciate it if funds were submitted via PayPal so that I can keep better track of things, and not have to be fumbling around with money or European conversions at the convention.
Please include both your board name and your real name when submitting funds, and include "FNG - Black Parade Armband" in the subject line.

I feel extremely honored and oh so proud to have known Chris, and I hope this small token of our remembrance of him will ring loud and clear as to how many of our paths have crossed and all of the hearts and lives he has touched.
He was family, and is sorely missed.
