The time has come for all us normal people to step up and put
an end to all this! We are sick and tired of all the freaks of the world taking up jobs, living in our neighborhoods, schooling with our children...it's time to stop them!

We're going to meet up a few days before the parade to make signs and discuss our general discontent with the owners of this "Dragon*Con" for allowing these things to march down our roads while they should still be in their cages at the circus, like, ya know, normal freaks. I'm also making t-shirts on cafepress.com if you are interesting in supporting the cause.

I'll let you guys off right away... It's a joke. The group is part of the parade and is forming a "Mutant Protest" in the vein of the X-Men series of films. But it did get a lot of "WTF?!" responses from the parade group members!

WTF indeed... I like the idea, but posting like this might have been somewhat of a bad tactic. Sadly I won't be there, but I'm sure we'll see pictures and videos of it.

You know... I always found it funny how mutants were hated and feared in the comics, yet before the whole House of M storyarc there were almost as many mutants as humans.

That was Great Kevin Such a great idea & I for one loved the way it came across. Them damn freaks need putting down & also the mutants too (well if I cannot make DCon). Seriously nice twist there Kevin. Liked that a Lot & made me laugh. Should be interesting to see the response of ppl at the march on that. Does that mean we`ll see "Average Joe Anti Freak mob" go head to head with the Superhero costumers in the parade to spice things up HAHAHA Or at least put them right behind the Superheros on the march,now that would be fun to see (Shouting Anti Mutant stuff with the Heroes either ignoring or play responding back at them) Jason

(Just so you know guys- I didn't actually write this ) The email was sent to all members of the D-Con parade group via the messaging system. I received all the replies as well- which were all very much "WTF?!" The parade organizer Jan Price then sent us an email explaining what this was all about. Really had us going. The author also emailed an explanation... "Who's up for some good old mutant hating?" I'm curious to see if they will be in the parade themselves- or be parked somewhere along the parade route. If they actually go through with it.

I'm not much of a comic book reader, but someone I know is and he says even Marvel Comics has abandoned the anti-mutant movement storyline. I don't know if this idea is even timely anymore. Oh, well, there's always room for people to have fun.
