Post subject:  Any Colonial Marine women going to D-con ?
Well i am draggin my wife to dcon this year ,and i have even got her costume in the works . my question is how many woman will be at dcon in costume or not ,just so my wife will have someone to talk to, and not be totally pissed at me for geeking out for three days

specopsdet1 I've changed the title of this thread slightly as you'd misspelled 'women'.

Originally I thought you were seeking someone (a woman) you'd met before. Now the title reflects that you're asking if other women other than your wife are going. Hope you don't mind me changing it.

I'll be there this year - not a Marine but in costume as a Dropship Pilot.

One of the UK folks coming over the pond!

This is great, as I was wondering whether I'd be the only female in our group in the parade! :D

Angie will be there with her Dropship Pilot gear and with us in the parade. Probably 4 or 5 other get ups throughout the weekend as well. Including the oft mentioned surprise USCM costume 8)

In fact Stehpen Fry and I share the same birthday - so that probably explains it.

Infanteer is the gender neutral form of infantryman. So if in armour, you're an Marine infanteer... in a flightsuit, your a Marine pilot... but always a Marine!
