Hello! I have recently moved into the Asheboro, NC area and am looking for fellow Marines to get together with and go to cons. Since I moved into what i hope will be my "forever" home, I finally broke the armor out of storage and am going about restoring it to a Con-ready state. I'm also hoping to hit up Dragoncon this year in my armor, so i hope to meet even more of you then! |

I'm not based in NC but I tend to hit Raleigh's GalaxyCon most years. My wife's sister lives near there so its always a good excuse for them to see each other and me to get everyone dressed up. We have had some good years with other NC locals and members coming up from Tennessee. Of course it helps when there is an Aliens related guest to motivate others to travel, but in general I pencil in Raleigh for every July. |

Ive only been in NC for 2 yrs, but I've hit up GalaxyCon both times. Now that I'm in my "forever home" and broken out the armor, might have to set up a meet at the con. |
