Figure it's past time for one of these. I'm located in Scappoose soon to be St. Helens. I come from the 501st, Rebel Legion and Mandalorian Mercs costume club but my first love has always been Aliens. Besides trying to get a new place to stay (middle of a divorce) I'm trying to put together my BDUs. I've already ordered Spat's armor. Boots-Right now I only have the all black military style. It's going to be some time before I get the proper ones. BDU-I picked up the Walmart Wranger's and a short sleeved shirt to match but still missing the BDU shirt. Hoping to find something that will work at Goodwill. Once I'm on my feet again it will be the Spat BDU's but right now I'm having to watch how much I spend. I'll say this much. As a member of the 501st, I find this group far better. Course I prefer some Xeno's over some Rebels any day of the week. |

I now have my boots, multicam bdus and patches applied. Still waiting on my armor but I'll be doing my "pre mission/BDU" kit at Wizard World this weekend. |

Yeah, it helps if you carry a pulse rifle or have a plush facehugger (think geek has em). People are more likely to get what you are.

My armor didn't get here in time so I wore my BDUs on Sunday to our local con and got to meet Michael Bein. He's a really great guy to talk to in person. Check one Colonial Marine off the list. |
