I saw signs and I want to go. But I've been so busy with either duty, reenactments, or fulfilling commitments to friends that I need a weekend off...

And my evil evil friends want me up in Lakewood for RPGings (and I most likely will relent). Maybe I can get them to play Friday night, I might be able to do Saturday. Sunday is right out... work night and all :\

Man...I'd go to this if I had money and wasn't a full time student. I'm hoping I can start planning ahead for things like D Con and some other appearances, but this is last minute. I wish I would've been bit by this bug like a year ago.

I will be honest. It was a bit of a clusterf*ck. Plus the 107 degree weather didn't help. I ended up wearing steampunk gear and only staying a few hours to see a friend's panel and left. Though it would have been a good place for a fan table. The Mando Mercs did pretty well and had lots of people interested.

well i guess next year we might have to set somethign up for a Drop and Sweep there. But the heat and drive is what made me not want to go it was Hot enough in SD.

I almost went but didn't want to be the only Colonial Marine jerk traipsing about.

The heat was detrimental as well.

However I did hash some ideas with a amateur photographer friend and we have some ideas for some cool photoshoots with my various up and coming costumes.
