No, it's not too early to start thinking about next year's DCon Costumes! Cpl Tony and I have come up with an idea we think will be a lot of fun- Clowns- Not just any Clowns, but- Killer Clowns- Not just any Killer Clowns, but Clowns in tactical gear- It's pretty wide open, we're thinking the only things to tie everyone together would be a black tactical vest and / or a bandolier. Tac boots or clown shoes or colored converse sneakers= Clown pants, top- whether it's from a Halloween store or the ladies section at the thrift shop. I'm also thinking about gucci-flage. You know, that brightly colored camo we've all seen... If there's enough interest, we may be able to get an appt with the Wolf Bros to get the face painting done- Whatcha think? It could be such a blast! |

I'm in....it'll be an easy transport space wise and should be a lot of fun. Clown shoes at the ready!! Only stipulation is that the night we do it we need to head up to my room, encircle the bed Hillary (the girl with us this and last year) is sleeping in and then....well....you get the rest ![]() |

You mean just clown make-up, or with the full giant heads from the Killer Clowns movie? |

Masks were talked about and I may grab one for a test run at the Texas Frightmare event in May 2012....but makeup would be MUCH more comfortable |

I'm looking to build a minigun. For some reason I have a mental image of the guns used in Predator by the team....a wide assortment. |

Okay, gaining ground on my costume- working on "Ruthless Ronald McDonald" - I'm not much of a fast food fan, but...here's my plan- Ronald McDonald costume- blood splattered, manical makeup, H-harness, two blood splattered machetes or cleavers, or etc... maybe a gun slung over shoulder- Jack in Box head hanging from belt- Jack's eyes are "X's", mouth an "O" - Burger King mask over a head... There ya go, plenty of fast food mascot gladitorial battle fun! ![]() |

Tac vest, shoes and weaponry ready. I've got a line on the clown outfit itself and the mask/face. There are just too many bland standard clown outfits online, it's been tough finding one that's unique and still within my budget. |

Anyone else in for Splicers, for the Professor Elemental gig, and / or Abney Park? Gonna try my hand at sculpting and casting masks - Will sell 'em for cost of materials or trade for boozes! |
