The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

So the armor Spat sent me, in olive drab, got a little nick in it and so I figured I'd touch it up with the Krylon Camo Olive I had sitting around the house... Ugh! I've sense bought 3 other cans all having different hues... I've been forced to repaint the entire suit, due to this -- anyone had similar experience? I've yet to find 2 cans of Krylon Camo Olive that actually are the same color...

every little kick of paint on my set of spat armor, i just get a silver paint and paint over it. makes the armor look battle used.

That's exactly what I did -- it's looking pretty sweet now, just wondering if anyone one had the inconsistency issue? My armor now is a shade darker then the original olive that spat used, which matches my M41A a bit better, but still seems weird -- Does Krylon just not check the hue/shade consistency of their Camo blends?

could be a number of things. could be the paint batch, humidity in the air, if the aerosol can was properly shook before you spray painted. who knows.
