The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

So what you're saying is that I brought the debauchery to a wrestling party? Perhaps.

Sorry to interupt the discussion of alcohol and sex...

I bought a flight from SFO to ATL... I should be arriving at 15:54 on Sept 1st per the airline. Snag a taxi and be on my way I suppose.

You could also take the MARTA to the main hotel area on Peachtree. Assuming your bags aren't too huge and cumbersome.

I'm thinking one tactical pack on my back
An oversized USMC camo wheeled soft luggage bag that's so big I can stuff a Navy wife in: http://www.grunt.com/digital-desert-mini-monster-bag
And a Pelican rifle case: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=10349

Of course I think you'd know better than I would. I haven't tried to pack spat armour in luggage, yet...

The only real issue is getting on/off the escalators(moving stairs) and through the ticket barriers, so you should be okay with those bags.

Thumper, Tempest and I did it a couple years ago with some bins, bags, etc... it wasn't that hard to navigate, I don't think.

I can pick you up at the airport. It is on my way to Atlanta. I will have my car anyway and it is a quick stop. It will save you the hassle.

Thanks!

I always try to avoid using public transit systems. Especially as a tourist.

I could easily see myself standing in front of the MARTA ticketing kiosk reading every bit of information and trying to figure out how to use the system, and how much money I have to put into it... While doing so the every day local commuter waiting in line behind me gets impatient, then annoyed, then upset, and finally angry. No longer able to tollerate my delays he screams: "THIS IS MARTA!!!" and then kicks me into the pit of death.

Well. No $#!&.

Provided I don't have duty next year, and provided that I'm not medically discharged next year, I'll keep that in mind.

Do you not retain some kind of "released service" ID card?
