The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Someone made the same joke in chat earlier, when I commented that I wasn't going to make it 17 days.

But, I'm sure the colony is relieved to hear that reinforcements will be arriving in 17 days.

Is it sad if I'm coincidentally in full armor right now?

Uhhhhh, heeheeeeeee! $H!T!!!

While my costumes are ready (the only new one was finished about 4 months ago) I still have lost track of time for this.
Just need to sort out the rental car or if not renting then just get my tyres sorted out.

17 days......yeah we should be ok.
See you all there ;)

How ironic that in the film, 17 days causes Hudson to have a breakdown as he considers it too long to wait...

While here everyone is having a meltdown because it is too little time.

"Spat's got a lotta work to do..."

:P

As for myself- for the first time in probably the history of my attendance, I've got everything done that I need to do. 8)

Now all I need is a deck of cards.

Yeah, the last 4 months just flew by, but now that I have virtually everything done, and nothing to work on, the days go by at a crawl.

I need to plan to not finish until the Wednesday before.

LOL can we redistribute the work?

I know Profiler doesn't have any costuming work to do either and he says it's too long. I still need to work on my Pulse Rifle and it isn't enough time... oy.

So lets get the non-busy people busy!

That would be in line with just about all of us.

Or you could be like Ripstick and have things done in the last 24hrs before the Parade begins (he's famous for that)! 8)

John, you live right by me. If you have something simple to work on, I'd be glad to help you out.

Nah, I'm worrying myself too much about it. I need to get past 1 thing and it's smooth sailing.

It's a good thing I am done with what I want to do (for now, at least) because we're getting in on Wednesday afternoon. Meaning, I won't have the traditional Wednesday rush to get things done. One less day for me.

Haha, yeah. I spoke to them already and confirmed that all I need is a photo ID. It's just mildly annoying cause having the card speeds up the process.

So do you not have to fill out the form with the Yellow Card? Or... wait in a shorter line?

Yeah, if you registered online you should have gotten a yellow Dragon*Con post card in the mail. If you have that when we go to registration, it will make the process sail through.
