Well, had a great day on Saturday. Got there around noon & stayed until closing. Met the boys for the local 501. They are always supportive and welcome me with open arms. Ran into a few hotties. First up was a cute Wonder Woman.



Next was one of sweet looking Stormtrooper (not the same one from last year)



The town of Vulcan has a table with some "red shirts" who were alive so I got me a pic with one of them



I also ran into Sue and Chad from Edmonton. I met them last year & Chad (xeno_stomper) wants to build a smartgun so give him a hand. His wife Sue wants to do a Ripley ~kewl~ so here was her initial impression of Ripley with a chest burster. Of course, I had to open up with my M41A on the little devil



I got an autograph from George Takei and the beautiful Tricia Helfer. I went later & got a pic of Tricia holding my M41A. The photo is to be mailed to me & I'll scan then post when it arrives. All in all, an excellent Saterday. Next year I'll make a point to stay for both days as I was invited to many social events after. Would be great if the eastern Canadians came out west to make a big impact upon the show. After all, Mike flies to Toronto for Polaris so would be great if the others came out this way

As to making it out West, unfortunately D-Con takes up all my spare cash for the year- Polaris is a mere $10 in gas for me.

However I should make the effort for another Homeland drop... Gonna have to start saving for next year now.

I just finally ventured onto this forum sub-section.....after being on this site for many many years lol!!

I ended up going to the sunday show since that was the day doug jones was there. He saw my tattoo and freaked right out. I got a pic snapped with him so when they email it, i'll be sure to post it.
