only takes me 30 mins to drive to d-con from the house so I guess I got it easy. one of the best things about d-con is meeting the guys you talk to online face to face and getting shitty dunk with'em.
It's also cool to be one of the few colonial marines there in the vast sea of stormtroopers and boba fetts.

And there's at least four Marines missing from that pic, Dave Wong, Tentacle Chris, Fal Bowden and Gilmore...

Every year we try and set a new record for Marines for the parade. I think last year we had 29, 30?

With our UKCM brothers joining us this year, let's see if we can top that!

no it has been since 02 I think since I last went costumed sadly...
man that is great to see the ranks growing like that though!
last time I went in costume I believe was the first time some of the actors from Aliens were there together. it was Vasquez , Drake, and Frost if I am not mistaken. but anyways thats been a while I am sure I have missed quite a few cool happenings since then.
