More picking on typographical errors. awesome. I'm going to throw this small key-boarded laptop accross the room.

I've done the reenacting and living history display gig for nearly a decade. I'm cool with taking a hour or two of gear gaurd/firewatch... but being this would be my first dragoncon (and first sci-fi con in this century/millenium) I don't want to commit to an exact time because I might be missing something.

Though the table is only officially "staffed" by two members at a time, there's generally a small crowd in the area. No one's really going to be left out there by their lonesome. For the most part, the job consists of some general chit-chat about the franchise, and directing people to this website.

Like Outcry, I'll be around frequently. I usually man the table when I need to take a break from being geared up, which is why I have not signed up for a specific time.

On the subject, has anyone offered to bring a stack of the USCM "recruitment flyers" for the table this year? If not, if we could get a few people to each make a trip to Kinkos and bring a small number of them, we'll have a decent number to hand out without breaking anyone's wallet. Those flyers are usually a big hit with passers by

The last I heard about the fan table was that it was still in flux if we were going to be able to obtain one this year. Any updates on this, just in case I missed it?

It's listed in the official D*C Pocket Guide, so I reckon it's a done deal.

It is now? Okay, cool. When I checked the guide when it first came out (Sat? Sun?), there was no table listed for us, and Rex made mention of the table still being up in the air in one of his parade posts. I hadn't checked the revised guide yet and nothing else had been mentioned here, so I just wanted to make sure. Thanks!

I must've missed something. I only know that Baz took over fan table watch when CplTony & I headed off to see Lance Henriksen's Q&A panel. What exactly were the "improvements" and "remodelling" y'all are talking about?

My best guess is that it has something to do with my 'con-tourage'. They did give out more cards then any other marine manning the table. And they're not officially part of AL. LOL!
