The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I've updated the calendar on the USCM Charter for 2009

However I don't want to miss cons and/or events some of you guys and girls may be attending that I'm not aware of.

I know there are a few so can you please post any cons you're attnending in 2009 that aren't already listed?

I already have:
Dragon Con, Comic Con, Wonder Con, All Con And the Dallas Cons as well as Polaris 23.

Just post the name of the con and its website I'll take care of the rest.

Thanks all

Might help if you edit the title of the thread- you are the original thread starter after all.

The Air and Scare at the National Air and Space Musuem at the Udvar-Hazy Center in Dulles, VA.

Received word that it'll be held on Saturday October 23rd.

Last year's event and pictures:

http://nasm.si.edu/airandscare/index.htm

I can't remember if any Colonial Marines were there - I was with the Northern Virginia Ghostbusters and bolted early that afternoon (had to rest up to run the Marine Corps Marathon the next day).

Speaking of the Marine Corps Marathon - that'll happen on Sunday October 31st.

Has anyone on these boards ran it as a Colonial Marine team? I'd be willing to partner up with some folks who'd be interested in doing that. It's on Halloween, so you'll get a few folks in costume.

Do we have any Orlandoans - Orlandoans? Orlandites? Orlandans? okay, that works - Orlandans planning on going to MegaCon this year? The dates are March 12-14. I'd start a thread myself, but I'm not sure if I'm going. Likelihood would go up if we had a decent enough showing, though.
