Marmite is the definitive Love It Or Hate It thing, especially since they started using that as the advertising slogan. Claire, of course, is difficult and "doesn't mind it" It comes in jars, squeezy bottles, sachets and other forms. Personally, I find that it's OK up to a point... but if you use just a touch too much then it becomes WAAAAAAAYYY too much and is like swallowing a whole bottle of salt tablets in one go!! However, this feature does not exist with Vegemite, which is the Australian version (sold anywhere that stocks Kraft foods). Much smoother |

I'm intrigued what ADC does to push a person over 'meh' to full Marmite enjoyment. Does it involve Jack Daniels? |

I believe squeezy will be the safe for shipping option as you can't send glass in the mail. Whomever wants to send me one, shoot me a PM and I'll send you my address... just tell me what the cost is and I'll PP the fees. What's it smell like? |

I don't think marmite comes in anything but glass jars....it's certainly not squeezable. It's like asphalt!! |

I buy it in squeezy jars, so you can get it thus in the UK - handy for writing ones name on the bread. http://www.marmite.com/love/squeezy SAS |

Beware... It might taste different if it's produced in a different country! I had this experience with Coco-Pops, love the UK ones (until they changed the recipe a few years ago) but downright detested the Australian version. |

Marmite is like a thick syrup or treacle, flavoured with very strong soy sauce. It's a veggie version of beef extract, but made from yeast. |

I'd check with your post office first I guess... I'm sure there's rules for perishable... but a plastic bottled condiment, I doubt it. |
