The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Lots of the same material reused, but there are some new tidbits...

Well apparently Paramount isn't to happy about it being leaked and they shut down the first link I posted.
Just go to youtube and Search for
Star Trek Superbowl....

You'll find it.

The jury is still way out for me on this.

It looks like an over glossy fan-fic to me.

This film will either be bingo or boll*cks.

If I knew nothing about Star Trek...

I would think it is amazing.

Even if it was simply the next movie after Nemesis (in other words not a prequel with Kirk and Spock)...

I would still think it was cool.

But I know Trek too well for my own good.

However Paramount and the franchise isn't going to stay in business by just impressing me.

So this is for the masses, who will hopefully go and see it two or three times.

So I hope it is a monster blockbuster.

I'll see it. Opening weekend. And I'll even dress for it.

Yay.

Kevin

Actually saw Watchmen last night.

I quite like that they don't introduce every character and explain their abilities etc etc. A lot of the background is left to the audience's imagination.

However, I did spend half the film simply eyeing up Laurie.

Well I know he can be biased (or bought) but Harry at Ain't It Cool News said that it's not Star Trek 2, but it comes in a close second.

I just wish the toys were done a bit better. Instead of doing 3 different sized figures they should have concentrated on just one kind. The role-play toys rock however.
