Nah, I just ripped that off an American site.
TBH, most bike clubs over here, 1%er, Outlaw and in general use normal speech. Same for most of the US, from what I hear.

You won't generally encounter many MCs or MCCs in the UK as they keep to themselves a lot. You may see them at rallies, but unless you're part of the scene (which The Taskmistress is), you mostly just get a friendly nod as they pass you by.

Best thing you can learn, aside from how to ride safe and maintain the bike, is what the bits are called so you don't look like a complete nob when ordering spares.
