The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Over ten years ago my liver was 180 Proof.

Fortunately your liver is one of the two organs in your body that is able to regenerate itself once left to heal (your skin being the other).

A fridge full of nat's piss... :P

There are only two real types of beer: Stout and Ale.

I'm a Guinness man really but I do love a good real ale too!
I've tried Budd, Coor's and a few other strange "beers" when I've been in the US but it's just like drinking fizzy water.
And as for spirits... there's something wrong when I have to specifically ask NOT to be given ice in single malt whisky.

Besides, the fun of real ale is that there are SOOOO many interesting local brews to try!!

Some notable mentions...

I class myself as a lightweight by British standards, but that stuff is only fit for rinsing urinals by my standards.

Sorry dude; Someone gave me a "Miller Lite" at D*Con. It tasted like funny-tasting water.

Yeah, Spitfire's a nice beer!
I can't imagine there are many real ales that are exported to the States. It's a shame. When I move to FL I'm going to miss them!

I've been getting back into Newcy Brown alot lately.
It's one of those beers that goes straight to your head though...
4 pints of Guinness in an evening is ok and I can be on the parade square at 0700 the next morning no problem. I recently remembered that after 4 bottles of Newcy it's not as easy.

I just realised I forgot another of the greats...

Wells also make a nice "Banana Bread beer" it's interesting.

Seriously who invented light beer?

ALE!!! thats where its always at!...Puts hairs on ya chest!and you feel manly with a good pint of Nuns delight (Bishops Finger) or Spitfire!...

Or Cider..Cant beat a good cloudy pint of local cider!.Biddenden cider in my case..will generally have you on the floor talking like a kentish farmer after 4 pints.

Our friends from across the pond don't know what they are missing, with all their Bud and Miller lights

Had a good Stout at my local the other night, Porters, worth trying!

one for the fans...
