The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Yeah umm... Sorry for the slight hijack but...

Does the song Si posted ever end? I've been listening to it for like five minutes now and it's the same thing over and over and over again. :(

Awesome. I love the headcrabs. Sure, they may be facehugger ripoffs, but they're still awesome, none the less.

Now you've got me hungry for crab.

Nice costume, really has the "ick" factor turned up to eleven.

I'm not familiar with the game, what do these things do? Take over your body?

Headcrabs jump onto your head, hijack your motor functions, and zombify you, inducing mutations, such as the claws. Scary thing is, they can only control you motor functions. You're alive and aware of what is going on the whole time. Once that little sucker is on you, there is no way to get it off, aside from gunfire.

Aw, dude! The hell with horror flicks - I need to go back to video games for the squick factor.

very cool,
i can see that being made into a costume pretty easy,
might have to tilt your head funny to see, but then, that should help with your zombie lurch

I'm happy with the finsihed product. A very cheap prop for a halloween party, cost me about £10 to make.
He's made me jump a few times, when I forget he's sitting there as I walk into the room >_< lol.
