Hey everyone,
On the 8th April 2008 I will be launching myself out of a plane 15,000ft above ground level. The purpose of all this, aside from a bit of thrill seeking; is to raise money for Help for Heroes (
http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk)
Help for Heroes offers support to British Servicemen who have been wounded in current conflicts such as Afghanistan and Iraq. Wounded Servicemen are treated and cared for at Headley Court, a Ministry of Defence run hospital that offers rehabilitation, counselling and ongoing support for our Servicemen and women and is funded by the Government.
Help for Heroes is backed by the Army Benevolent Fund and has teamed up with the Royal British Legion for a number of fund raising events. Help For Heroes was officially recognised and blessed by the head of the army, Chief of the General Staff, General Sir Richard Dannatt and since it's creation in October 2007 has raised over £5.5million in sponsorship.
If you would like to show your support for our Servicemen and Women you can do so at the following site:

If you are unable to make an on-line donation, but would still like to show your support, please drop me an e-mail or give me a call on one of the following contacts:
dan_the_man697@msn.com
All of your kind donations will go directly to the charity and will not be used in anyway to cover the costs of the skydive.
If anyone would also like to take part please let me know, as the more people who can get involved the better!
