Thought i'd put this up for a laugh, i'm a member of a War of the Worlds fan forum, (all versions) and we decided to have a get together and have a bit of a laugh, so we drove around all the places where the story took place in the original book and make a funny little video.

A chap called Mr G made the dancing tripod and the editing. It was a big laugh to make. The War of the Worlds music was allowed to be used by Jeff Wayne himself who's seen the video and cracked up laughing.

Did they make a film version in 1919 or close ?

I took some of the original art from pearsons mag. and
scratch built ( with some of my own mods ) a model of the tripod war machine.

Personally I enjoyed the '38 broadcast, the '53 movie and the tv series from the late 80s (which happened to be filmed in Canada ). The '53 film is my favourite.
