The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Awesome!

So have you seen Davros already? Last one we got (not counting tonight's ep) was "Unicorn and Wasp".

Hi Rev,

Thanks for that.

I'd seen it a while back, someone had leaked the image! :)

Davros looks the absolute works.

The Dalek, er, ummm, what Simon said! :(

3 bloody ears, what were they thinking!

Cheers,

Andy

Nah, not yet, but we've only got two episodes to go, so next week will be the one I think. :)

i like the plunger, however if you look at the two gold Daleks flanking the red one in pic 3 they have a... whisk?

I wonder if the Red's gold thingies on the mid section are 'arms' that fold down to lock it into some control mechanism? Ship? Uber-brain? Fondu?
(IIRC Red daleks were the 'engineers' in the old films?)

The red Daleks were saucer commanders IIRC...
I suspect that the head might lift up and off :|

Has the "Two Doctors" themed episode happened yet? I'll be POed if I missed it.

Anyone have a decent source for the second part of the 2 part Sontaran episode? Tivo went FUBAR and instead of recording channel 42 (Sci Fi) it recorded channel 2. :(

Also, anyone know when season 3 of Torchwood starts?

Which one is the Two Doctors one?

These are the ones we've had so far:

According to the BBC web site you posted, there's no mention of the episode yet. All I know is that it features Peter Davison reprising his role as the Doctor.

Curses. Foiled again. :)

Anyone know if that was shown on SFC in the US?

EDIT: Just watched the link Mole shared.

Ab.So.Lutely. BRILLIANT.

Actually gave me chills. In a good way. And that so rarely happens any more. :)

Thank you!

I don't think so. According to Wikipedia when 'Voyage of the Damned' was aired it didn't contain any of the footage from 'Time Crash' so I figure it was never shown in the States.

Incidentally, there is an episode called 'The Two Doctors' with Patrick Troughton and Colin Baker (Two and Six). There's also 'The Three Doctors' with Jon Pertwee (Three), Patrick Troughton (Two) and William Hartnell (One), and 'The Five Doctors' with Peter Davison (Five), Richard Hurndall (One - as William Hartnell had passed away by then), Patrick Troughton (Two), Jon Pertwee (Three) and Tom Baker (Four).

I saw the five doctors many moons ago. Rather weak in my opinion because some were as I recall, trapped in some video generated limbo, rather than being on screen interacting with each other.

I wish they'd do a multi-doctor episode. Maybe a 2 part. They could chalk the age up to a disruption in the space/time continuum or some such, resulting in advanced age for whomever is brought through the portal. The closer to the current doctor's time, the less disruption. :)

And why haven't they used the loophole of the Doctor's niece from the very first series with Hartnell?

And since I'm asking questions... is it ONLY Time Lords who can regenerate, or could all Gallifreyans?

Russ

LOL! Don't ask me... I only started watching when Tennant took over - I couldn't stand Eccleston.

Hey Russ... Torchwood season 3 is going to be very short. Like 6 episodes or so.
