The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hi all

As some of you may know. I am a star trek fan. A website called roddenberry.com is holding a prop contest called If you built it.

I would like to invite you into one of my worlds to see some of my work, and while you are there. I would ask that you vote for contestant #6 Myron Stapleton, and his Star Trek Nemisis phaser build.

http://www.roddenberry.com/?action=site.showcase&sid=20

Go see for yourself, or do I have to pull out my Hypno toad

Myron

I would send it to you, but can't find a box. Also I think my motovator is broken, and the parts are on back order.

Here is a few pictures. They shrunk the ones I sent them way too small.

You should post that video next to the pix. Also upload it on youtube then ask viewers for votes. That 's what the TOS bridge guy Contestant #3: John Santoni did. Should get your vote count go up.

Mike

Well contestant #3 was called for cheating, and his reply confirmed it. His score went up over 100 points yesterday in just over an hour. :( Another contestant on youtube sent him a message that read. "How's it feel knowing that you are going to win by cheating?" The reply was This.
trekbridge has seny you a message on YouTube

Re: Rodd contest
Did you send the same message to contestant #6 and #13?
I'm Just playing the game the same as they are.
Do they get a free monopoly on cheating, because they have your propzone approval?
You're not fooling anyone.
Get off your soapbox!
If they (you) want those BORING guns to win...then you will all just have to work harder for it!

Roddenberry.com war asked about this, and their reply showed a lack of concern.

I think those people have "friends" that votes several times. I managed to vote more then once already, it seems the system lets you vote once a day or something. I'm up to my 5th vote for you, and I think your prop is better then the ones ahead of you... so: find more trekkies friends!!
