The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

If in debt.....please pay down some bills :)
For me, this will cover D*Con so the funds I already have saved will just stay in savings :)

I think Cherie is eyeing a new flat panel TV though......which will be nice I guess.

FYI if you owe any money to the IRS already this money will go towards that debt first. You'll receive any leftovers.
...don't get me started on the IRS

We're driving to D*Con so I'm hoping gas prices don't spike.
I'm already trying to cut back my driving by about 10%.
One person can't do anything, but if we all cut back 10%....prices will come down.

Not really. If it was $8.40 a gallon, then it would be 4.20 in Pound Sterling. But you also have to remember, they pay for their gas in Litres, not Gallons.

Yeah. I was going to save a little bit each month for Dragon*Con...until I saw that the Stimulus check was for real (didn't trust the government to follow through). Since my wife and I both work and we have one kiddo, this sucker almost pays for DC, gas and all.

Hoooo Rah!
