Wow. One of the creators of the original Dungeons & Dragons RPG. I did not know this- although the name is beginning to sound familiar. I used to play DnD back in 1982. |

Generally accepted as "THE" creator. But that might have been more PR than anything. Since I think Megacon usually gets one of the others to attend. |

This news really messed up my day. I don't usually feel much when someone famous I've never met dies, but this one..... That guy is responsible for alot of my middle and high school memories. |

Sad day. I still play D&D. Been running campaigns ever since '78. Got a group that's been with me for 15 years. My son got me into DDO- Dungeons and Dragons Online, and I've been having a helluva good time! Waaaaaaay fun! There's a petition on the DDO forums to have memorial statue created and put in the marketplace. Great game, graphics, co-operative amongst 6-12 players. A ton of fun. |
