The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Looks good, but seems like there is a lot of computer generated stuff.

If the soldiers' uniforms in the movie are what I think they are, I already have something to wear for comic-con (minus the ridgeway cap). :D

What a way to get a person excited about a film.
Did anybody else catch the crate marked "Roswell New Mexico 1947?"
I hope this isn't Indiana Jones and the case of the flying saucer.
Anyway looks great.

Anyone want to speculate on a spin off film with Shia LeBouf?

harrison ford looks pretty good in this. theyve slowly made progress towards a more comedic approach to the films through the years and this looks no different.

only a couple months to go!

What speculation?

I heard months ago that Indy would pass the hat onto Shia's character and start a new franchise.

Top notch. I'd not heard that. He's definitely one of the best young actors out there.

Love him in Disturbia and Transformers. In Constantine I still called him "That Even Stevens kid".

I like how he is trying to keep his nose clean unlike other Disney brats.

If you have not yet seen Holes, The Greatest Game Ever Played or the Battle of Shaker Heights, throw them on your Netflix. The first time I ever saw him was in Freaks and Geeks.

More than you would like to believe...

Here is the Crystal Skull...

(WARNING! Obvious spoiler pic ahead)---

When I first saw this pic on the BOTB- I cringed.

Indiana Jones meets Close Encounters.

And although I didn't catch the Roswell crate- based on the skull pic I had made a comment about it taking place in Roswell in 1947!

I also narrowed down the species of alien the skull is supposed to be (it's not quite a classic "Gray" alien)...

Do I seem bitter?

I mean come on! The Indy franchise has always had religious overtones- now they are throwing aliens into the mix?!

And I'm having a bit of trouble--- who are the bad guys in this movie? The US Government? The Men In Black?

Colour me lost.

Well You could tie it in with the whole 'aliens in history' theory,

Ezekiels fiery wheels, Hindu Vimanas, Mayan star ancestors, pyramids and egyptian sky gods, stonhenge, Easter island, Nephilim mentioned in Genesis 6:4. All that new age stuff etc etc.

If you believe in that sort of thing..:)
