The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Just curious if anyone else is playing it.

I'm currently playing guitar, and the Mrs. is doing vocals when she does play.

I'm okay at drums, but only on easy. I've actually completed songs on hard, something I couldn't pull off with any regularity on Guitar Hero 2 & 3.

Pretty fun game.

Indeed. You'd think they would have pushed for a Christmas release.

Im also working my way through GH3. I can't believe how much less fun it is that GH2.

What's your gamertag.? Strangely enough, Im JediFraz.

Believe it, or not, its arriving via UPS today. I had a hard time finding it here, so I had to order it off of Amazon to get it in time for christmas!

I've read that people are having trouble finding it, but it's all over the place in town here. For both the 360 and the PS3.

My gamertag is RookIII, but I only have silver and not gold live, so I couldn't play with you if I wanted to. :)

I'm stuck on "Mother" on hard. Which is to say, I die at about 43-49%. Every. Bloody. Time.

What's funny is Sheila and I played 10 or 12 songs on hard on Rock Band and passed them all with at least 3 stars. Even got 5 stars on one song!

You're not the first person to say that. Myself included. I really did like the improvements in the game, including the character color/costume customizations, and I REALLY liked the fact that if you play on easy (which my wife does on GH) you get money for completing a set of music.

But overall, the music choices just... didn't thrill me. A few were decent, but half of them... meh.

Rock band needs some more Arena Rock groups, like Def Leppard, AC/DC, Van Halen and the like.

I've liked most all of the songs I've bought off Live, with the notable EXCEPTION of the bloody Metallica pack! 80s Metallica is EVIL! I was playing on Medium with my wife and failed out and she had to save me. :)

Overall though, I like the game. The Police song pack is great!

Here's a pic of my in game character, and a Guitar design "she" borrowed from someone...

I'd love to get Rock Band for 360 but I'm having a hard time justifying that much ($170) on one game when I have a ton of costume stuff to buy.

On GH3, I've completed everything up to the last set on hard. Slayer - Raining Blood (which I love the fact that it's there) is handing me my arse. I'm almost through One but can't get around the triplets in the last solo. Since I like the Les Paul guitar so much better, I'll probably go back to GH2 and start again where I left off.

I'm Schwartz1 on Live.

Hah, you think that's bad? Rock Band has become quite the hot property up here in Canadia. So hot that my tattoo artist was desperate enough to shell out $500 on one from the most ridichulously expensive game shop in the city.

Jeeze... I could have gotten him one for... I'm guessing perhaps $225 shipped? Perhaps less, I ddon't know how much it costs t6o ship to Canada.

See, the thing of it is I didn't drop $170 in one shot. I pre-ordered it at the local game shop and paid $10 a week. :)

I just finished Medium difficulty and have played through one set of songs on hard. Which is farther than I ever got on GH3.
