The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Until the film come out , i do not listen much to these kind of rumours, look at the first X - men film every actor was being casted as wolverine...a couple were even signed on for the part, until Hugh Jackman got it.....

Plus look at Spiderman...at one point James Cameron was writtening and directing a verson nothing came of it.... every couple of years there is talk of a Batman / Superman crossover movie

Yes Batman begins had lots of holes in it but it was a hell of a lot better than the last 2 Batman films...

So i think most of these film will not get made there will be talk, a JLA movie? mmm there might be copyright problems with that...

At least "The Incredible Hulk" is a different movie, not a sequel to "Hulk". So there goes the first hour of the movie being a Discovery Channel show, and the last half hour of the movie being useless daddy issues.

Now pissing me off big time is "Punisher: War Zone" no longer a sequel but a new reboot! ARGH!

From what I have read about, this is a total restart to the Hulk Franchise completely ignoring ang lee's crappy version. It'll be less whiney self-loathing, i'm so in love hulk and more smash the crap out of anything and everything he can get his hands on. And with Tim Roth as abomination, how can you go wrong?

Word also has it that Norton helped write some of the script for the film.

WTF ever happened to writing a story and getting it filmed?????

You know, not trying to pass off a second grade story under the title of a beloved Comic/TV show/ Previous Movie, and actually trying to think of something new?

All the writters went on strike ;)

One nugget I heard about the new Hulk movie is that there is a crossover scene with the Iron Man movie, indicating that they take place in the same reality and timeframe.

The Justice League movie is happening, in fact some shooting has been done already. Frank Miller is directing.

The way I look at all these comic book movies is the same way I look at other literary mythos throughout history- King Arthur, Robin Hood, Beowulf, etc... Every time the story is retold, it brings the tellers influence on it. I think that's an important study on humanity. I don't like every version of every story- but I have yet to be able to complain about the fact it's being done- I mean I love the Robin Hood stories, and I've collected some amazing versions of them, and by far the worst is also one of the worst movies I've ever seen- Prince of Thieves- but it does not detract from the story itself. Granted Batman, the X-Men or the Hulk don't have the legs of Robin Hood and Arthur, but they are still well known archetypes, and important exercises in morality and ethics... and yes, I have thought WAY too deeply on this. Sorry...

Mantroon, how did you get your hands on The Master List?? I thought this thing was in a safe under constant guard in the basement of every major studio in Hollywood?

(And I'm actually not really kidding - I've heard from friends who had brushes with the industry that there IS a Master List of things you have to have in your movie, of detailed timings of each segment of the story, etc etc... Now, my friends may have been bull****ing me, but I'm totally ready to believe it - just look at any Michael Bay movie with a stopwatch in hand... Yes, Transformers, I'm thinking of you.)
