The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Here's my halloween Jin Roh. Not the best, but in a hurry, it'll do.
I didn't have a german helmet in time, so I tried to do a Kazuki Fuse impression. No MG-34 either. >_>

Nice costumes folks!

I wasn't wearing anything last night - Halloween isn't that big around here, so it's not like anyone is actually trick or treating. The parties were last weekend.

I wore my Harry Dresden attempt:

And pumpkin-wise, I went with a Warhammer 40K flavour:

My Step-daughter invited me to come with her and her friends to a dance club Wednesday night:

Image

Here she is as Cupid (and bending down a bit to pretend she is a short as me. She even took her shoes off God bless her  ).

Anyway- we went to a club that plays 90s music. I felt like I was 25 again! I don't drink anymore so I was the designated driver. It was a blast going out- however after three hours of non-stop loud dance music I learned one thing...

I'm not 25 years old anymore!

Costumes look great everyone! So do those pumpkins!

And Colin! WOW! I haven't seen a pic of you since D-Con in 04! Man you've grown! :D

Went as a Ghostbuster at work, it was a huge hit! Everybody loved it. They couldn't believe how accurate the pack was. (it's close, but needs a few parts, which I told them.) It was a ton of fun, and they took lots of pics.

I'll post them as soon as I upload them.

That night I debuted my 41st Elite Clonetrooper (white w/ grey, Coruscant version) First time in armor for me and it was awesome! The armor fit darn near perfect and my 501st buddies were blown away by it.

They block off a street, and 1 street and two culdesacs decorate...the ENTIRE neighborhood!! Fog machines everywhere! It was soooo darn cool. Some cool costumes, but we blew everyone away. In addition to my Clone, there was Boba Fett, a Sandtrooper, Scout Trooper, Imperial Officer & two Jawas.

One garage was set up as photo op. Black tarps on the sides, a huge b&w Imperial Cog logo on the back wall, strobes and fog. It was soooo cool.

Easily the very best Halloween I've had in ages!

I'll post pics as soon as I upload 'em.

While the hat didn't arrive in time and due to other issues I had no time to dye my hair......here was me out and about.

And Sarg....I agree.
She is certainly a looker.
Sure she is your step daughter

Everyone looked awesome.
How many awards did we get?

Gotta agree with Rex- the Hot Fuzz suit looks great Tony! :D

RIGHT ON Rex! Love the trooper! :D

Didja re-enact the scene from TROOPS where they shoot the fleeing jawa? 8)

So a little story from my night out- I haven't been out clubbing in ages. The party I went to on Saturday night was a goth club, and a pretty diverse crowd (much like what you would see at D-Con)- which I'm used to and am more at ease with.

But Wednesday night I went with my Step-daughter Lindsy to a regular bar. It was a younger crowd. Basically everyone is wearing store bought costumes or something they literally look like they threw together.

While waiting in line to get in, some girls behind us ask where I got my costume- I tell them I made it.

The one girl says, "Wow! It's great! But what is it?" So I explain that it's from The Terminator and I'm one of the human soldiers who fight the machines in the future. She says, "Oh...

...I thought you were a Nazi."

I gotta admit it does have a "Rommel" feel to it with all the "grayness" and goggles.

I brought my camera, but didn't bother to take any pics as the costumes were nothing special.

All the girls wanted to hold the rifle... and all the guys kept saying "SHOOT EVERYBODY!"

Part of me wishes I had worn my Robin as it is a flashier costume. There was also this '66 Robin there that I would have put to shame.

*sigh*

And so another costuming season is done for me.

Don't feel bad Kev.....end of season just means more time to work on ones for next year.

My major down point was someone yelling 'Nicholas Angel!!!!' and then saying 'love the costume, but not the fake accent'

Took me over 25 years to perfect it.
Guess I need to work harder ;)

Maybe you should make it thicker on purpose?

All donations greatly appreciated :D

I have to admit though, Halloween is so much more on this side of the pond than I recall it being in the UK.
But come on.....what kind of parent drives the kids from house to house staying in the car with the engine running while they nab the candy?
