 Post subject: Predator 1/18th custom (AVP Pred with Alien head on spear)

Well for those who collect 1/6th Hot Toys,you know they made the Champion Predator with Alien head on his spear.

Here is Hot Toys 1/6th Champion Predator with Alien head on spear....

Alas they didn`t do the above as a 1/18th snap kits AVP line :(

So had to make my own :D

The figure is actually a Takara Microman AVP Predator Elder (spare), that I have customized to look more akin to the Champion Predator (from the flashback scenes).

I have also added height to the figure as the Microman Predators & Aliens are somewhat on the small scale at 1/18th (Scale wise 6ft).

I found the torso armour actually comes off,so cut the armour to fit only half his torso,then added a leather strap across his chest.
The helmet enlarged & is sculpted to look like the 1/6th version.

The Alien head is from the Hot Toys 1/18th snap Kit line.

My Custom with a none altered Microman Predator,to show height difference.

Yep that`s the Dark Horse original AVP comic story "Broken Tusk" Predator.
Still have some work to do on him though.

Looks good there Jason..... :D well done keep us updated on the broken tusk predator....

just wondering how much the 1/6 scale hot toys predator is? if price is anything like the Marines.... it would be cheaper to buy a large scale resin kit and convert it to the right pose... :wink:

Broken Tusk! I'd forgotten about him! Looking forward to more pics.

I really like the 1/6th version, I'd had to cancel him on my preorder, just couldn't justify the $159- :cry:
