The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

But tell me Dom, you had cranberry sauce with that. WTF do you do about the gravy? Tofu gravy?

Your strange overseas rituals baffle me. Why replace perfectly good meat with Tofu? Why is the cranberry sauce so indispensable? Why are Canadians celebrating Thanksgiving - at a different date too?

Grumpy Frenchman is confuzled.

Beats me pal.

For the love of God, you can't have turkey without cranberry sauce! It is a sacrilege!

Hey every society has something to be thankful about! And we celebrate it ahead of our America neighbours because we were here first.

Well the Brits celebrate the day all the servants carried boxes around the day after Christmas.

Let the guys across the pond celebrate a wobbly necked bird that can't fly

Happy Thanksgiving :)

Hey, I'm not saying it's wrong or anything - just weird. :p

Also, I like cranberry sauce, but it's not necessarily THAT essential to the enjoyment of roast turkey...
Well. I suppose it's like a French christmas without foie gras. Unthinkable.

Is Canadian Thanksgiving the day that the settlers were brought beer by their southern neighbors?

What about the yams, Chuck?!? You can't have Thanksgiving without the yams!

Yeah... lame Charlie Brown reference... I'm bored.

Yes, I know... we've evolved beyond European expectations... sorry!

Well, when you're vegetarian, this is the choice you make.

The same question can be asked about haggis. :x

Thanksgiving has to do with harvest. Our harvest season is sooner that the USA as our climes tend to get chillier quicker.

A choice that baffles me too - me like meat, oorngr. :P
Just kidding of course. I respect the choice totally. Although I truly do NOT like tofu.
