The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I did.

Guy was drunk... mouthy... and then resisted arrest.

Fun times. :)

I found the stuff here.

Tony... I live outside of Gainesville where it happened. I was born and raised, and until 3 years ago lived there. We're thinking of lynching the little punk.

I love how the media will bitch about tasering...

It's the best tool I have on my belt, beyond a doubt.

A taser hits for 5 seconds. During that 5 seconds, the subject is incapacitated and easy to bring under control. Sure, it hurts (yes, I've been hit with one), but after 5 seconds the pain immediately ceases.

Would they (the media, etc) rather the guy'd been slammed to the ground instead, and possibly suffer more serious injury from it?

The nationwide statistics don't lie: Tasers bring suspect injury stats down, and it brings Officer injury stats down.... meaning it does it's job to lessen injury.

/end rant
