The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I just upgraded to one of these, so I can access the board on the move now too! :)

Yeah that's fantastic!

My posts can wait until I get home first. Image Image

It's funny- I must be one of the few human beings left that does not own a cellphone or other form of portable communications device.

Mind you if they made one that looked exactly like an Original Series ST communicator- I'd be all over it like stink on a monkey! Image

I thought someone did make one that looked like a communicator... might have just been a pipe dream...

Ah, I was going to go for one of those (the AT&T 8525). Andrew David has one and I took a shine to it when I saw him last.

My mobile service provider over here (Orange) has just discontinued it, but when I went to upgrade my handset the guy in the shop showed me the HTC Touch and I was sold!

I know there was a prototype that was made with a MR communicator (and had the standard button pad on the back). It turns up on ebay once in awhile for a massive amount of cash.

And there are instructions out there on how to make one with a Bluetooth phone...

But I'm talking about a mass produced ready straight out of the box phone.

A Tricorder Blackberry wouldn't hurt either. Image

Up until Christmas I'd never had a mobile phone, and I didn't want one for Christmas either, but it was bought as an annoying surprise pressie :? I have spent about 50 pence on it so far, though it's been useful for incoming calls occasionally.

Also it has C64 music as ringtones and a C64 screensaver anim :D I'm a bit of a Retro Gaming fan.

The Commodore is back, although it's got a little bit more RAM this time! ;)

Yeah, but it's just the name unfortunately; They are just PCs. I waited years for a new Amiga to come out when CBM went bust, but everyone just messed about too much, then it was too late.

I'll always have my emulators and real C64 and Amigas :D
