OK, I got some parts ordered to try and start this. I also ordered parts to get the isolation motion tracker off the ground as well.

m2.5mm screw assortment set

I have plenty of bits and pieces but some 1/8" lexan and 1/6" lexan were used for protectors.

#6 screws were used though m3 (3mm) screws can be used to attach things.

jumper leads were also used.

placement is key on things. I tap holes with a 1/8" drillbit.

The pla was sealed using smoothon's xtc-3d resin compound.
paint is a latex acrylic cast off from lowes that was a mistint on sale.

OK, I am going through things and space is a big problem. I also get indications it may be possible to display the text on the actual display. Python pillow or pygame libraries could perform the needed adjustments on the fly. I just need to test.

This one I do not think would work.

The pillow library I used on the sentry gun facsimile and it could do what we are wanting

The other main issue I am having is that I would need to switch to a VGA or HDMI based display to get audio to really make things work. The issue is finding a compatible display for the screen accurate case that will work on 5 or 3 volts DC. Most displays run at 12 volts.
