Sorry, I need to rant or I'll put my head through the nearest wall out of sheer frustration...


Right now, I'm about as angry as I have ever been in my entire life.

Today saw about the biggest turnout ever at my airsoft site - 50 players, including 8 hire folk.
The hires were from a local "Residential centre" for troubled youths - Those recovering from drink or drug problems.

I was initially wary, but centre staff assured me that the guys in question had played Paintball on a number of occasions, and would be very well behaved.
Still wary, it took the fact that one of my regulars is the cook at the centre and recommended us to them to sway me.

They guys turned up, and surprised me!
Admittedly extremely neddy / chavvy, they got right into the games, and did very well.
A few minor incidents - One shot his mate in the nads, another shot his mate full-auto in the butt, and a third was seem taking a leak right in the middle of a firefight, with nary even a tree for cover for his junk... OVerall OK though.

Until I went to give a latecomer his change at the end of the day.

Obviously, someone had managed to access the cash box, and had stolen all but £30 + some change of the day's takings.
I don't know for a fact it was one of the Centre lads - But I trust all the regulars, and one of the hire folk was seen acting suspiciously at the end of the day.

That's green fees, gun hire, and all the money made from all the ammo we sold.

We charge £16 green fee, £15 gun hire, and £6 for 3000 BBs.
Do the math.


Police are APPARENTLY coming to fingerprint the ransacked cashbox tonight, but they have 4 minutes before their "We'll be up before 11" becomes false advertising.

Looking at their backgrounds presumably most (if not all) of these kids got previous convictions right?

So it should be easy enough for the police to get a match if they find any fingerprint evidence.

Are you able to install a CCTV system?

Then the damn Centre can pay me if they can't find the stolen cash.

As for CCTV - No chance.
It's a pine plantation in the middle of nowhere.

Well I know its not much help but it seems you can nail down who did it pretty easily and you know where they will be.

It doesn't get the money automatically back into your hands but it seems that its the next best thing.

Keep us posted and I'm glad it was a good day up until that point
