The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Well instead of learning songs for a band reunion next Saturday. I thought I would have at go at doing one of those canvas paintings of stormtroopers you sometime see on ebay.

I went on the web looking for something StarWars to paint and ended up with the Sandtrooper "Move along". Took me all afternoon painting it using acrylics but I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Makes a change from building props.

Not bad as a first attempt, seeing as I haven't painted since school :D

Not "Much?"

"'Much!"

As in "If you were to engage in a cash-based transaction for such an item, what would be the monetary recompense required by your good self in exchange for the opportunity to situate a piece of such artistic merit upon the curtailment of my humble abode?"
