What does the guy say, in the opening dialogue whilst the eggs are travelling down the conveyor, about the Darwin 'survival of the fittest' theory? One guy says to the other that it's an over-simplification or something. I'm looking for the term he used... Lewis |

"--no matter where you or anyone else may wish to draw the line, it still ends up as darwin's 'survival of the fittest'" "Darwin never said 'survival of the fittest' Scott, that was an oversimplification that was used to sell his theory to the public." "What you're talking about is manifest destiny" "you can call it whatever you want Tom. The fact remains that if the human race needs to do something to survive -- and the lower orders dont have the power to stop us-- we'll prevail. Its not right or wrong -- its just the way things are" SAS Anything that, in happening causes itself to happen, happens again. |

Thanks very much. Over-simplification WAS the term I was looking for! Wonderful graphic novel, a disgracefully missed opportunity for the makers of the film. Lewis |

I've still got all my DH Aliens and Pred comics from when they first came out. SAS Anything that, in happening causes itself to happen, happens again. |
