I believe JoeRanger started a topic somewhat like this a long time back and it got quite a few reponses which means that there are definately gamers here. So what is everyone playing? Doesn't matter what it is whether it's handheld, console, PC, etc. I bought an Xbox 360 a couple of days ago and I've been playing Dead Rising (trapped in a mall with thousands of zombies) religiously aswell as Marvel vs. Capcom 2. ![]() |

Wooooo-Hooooo! Scareb's got a 360!! Bro, you have got to get Halo and Halo2. Awesome 1st person shooters...Armored Space Marine shooting Alien scum...how much better does it get?! ![]() I was reading somewhere, that the designers loved the Colonial Marines from aliens, and you sure can see their influence. We play some online, but not much, I must confess. Those dudes are freakin' hairy good!! LOL no life!! We design our own games and have a real good time. Ghost Recon-Advanced Warfighter is really fun too. Star Wars Battlefront is great, the 2nd one even better still. Let's see, Oblivion- fantasy RPG- incredible scope of the graphics- absolutely insane. We have quite a few games, but those are the ones we play the most. Serious Sam is a laugh riot of a shooter. Biggggg guns shooting monsters...cheap game, lots of fun and laughter. Call of Duty 2- THE BEST WWII SHOOTER...EVER!! Game of the year. This is truly incredible. I've almost felt cold in the Russian Stalingrad in winter, and hot in the British Tunisia. Awesome game bro, just incredible. For PC, we just have D&D online, very cool game. Also Warhammer 40k, a RTS. Have on order- AVP2. Tony was telling me about it. You can play USCM vs. Aliens, or vs Pred, or vs Corporate scum. And play any of those too. Tony said you can have a squad of 4 Marines playing online as a team. With all the weapons of the movie. ![]() ![]() Only $20- at Amazon.com I could talk more about this stuff... that Dead Rising is pretty cool huh? It reminds me of the original Dawn of the Dead sorta... ![]() ![]() |

Already Own Halo and Halo 2 ![]() G.R.A.W is already on my to buy list, I tried it at my buddies and the graphics are sick. I'm probably gonna download the demo tomorr.....today. Same with oblivion although I should probably play through the rest of morrowind before I buy it. Call of Duty 2 is also one of my to buy list occupants, but cash is prohibiting me at the moment from buying anything. As for PC, unfortunately my PC ranks under the "more useful as an ashtray" section. AVP2 is amazing. I was hooked when they released they online demo. We used to have AVP2 nights on the boards but we had a tendency to run into hackers while we played. You'll definately love the game. Creepy as hell. Btw, if you play Halo 2, hook me up with your gamertag and we can jump online. Same goes to anyone/everyone who has a 360 and/or halo 2. My gamer tag is "Communist Joker" btw. ![]() |

Online gaming brings me to Guild Wars. It's an addiction I can't quit. I love the ability to customize your chars and the length and changing of the game. Also - I love any Sid Meyer's Civilization. It's cause I like being in control. ![]() Obilvion however is my X-Box 360 crack. I can sit there for an entire day, look up and it be tomorrow and not have noticied. The game play is really cool, especially the graphics - but- its kinda easy. I'm waiting for another game simliar to Return of the Jedi (which is X-Box) so I can play that on 360. I loved that game. ![]() |

Well, mainly Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge and The quiz machine down the pub. Although I nip round my mates house occasionally to try and beat his top scores on his Smash TV arcade machine and his Elvira Scared Stiff pinball table. ![]() UKCM @ www.colonialmarines.co.uk www.exewing.co.uk/ A man may fight for many things: his country, his principles, his friends, the glistening tear on the cheek of a golden child. Last year I was playing MOH: Allied Assault a lot. Great FPS! Used to play a lot of DooM and DooM 2. Others: AvP Starfleet Academy (any surprise here ![]() Star Wars: Jedi Academy Star Wars: Rogue Squadron Vietnam: Black Ops (probably had the worst AI for a FPS game ever!) Myst (fun and challenging puzzle game) There was also a combat flight simulator called F-22 Air Dominance Fighter (I think) that came with my computer when I bought it in '98. I used to play that game until the wee hours of the morning. I was in the Air Cadets as a teenager (and used to be a glider pilot with them); so this game holds a special place in my heart. ![]() Kevin "I know I'm human. Very cool! My gamertag is Bountys Hunted. Look forward to playing w/ you bro! Some of the games I've set up, well all of them have no shields and no motion trackers. Levels the playing field a bit...especially when playing against my son and his buddies!!! ![]() Active Camo w/ Brute Shots- in Turf Tactics- Battle Rifle w/ random secondary weapons, no grenades Snag dat Flag- Battle Rifle, Brute Shot, pick up Sniper rifles. Flag carrier can move fast, deliver max damage and drive vehicles. Waaay fun!! Especially on Relic Shotgun King- Crazy King, no shields, no trackers, no grenades / variant- include grenades. waaay different game when you add grenades Oblivion is friggin' awesome. But, finish Morrowind. Because the graphics jump tenfold w/ Oblivion. I bought the game of the year version Morrowind, but after Oblivion, I just couldn't get into the immense, immense difference in graphics and never played it again. It's that dramatic of a difference. ![]() |

I'm huge into Battlefront 2. I've have an original XBOX with all the starndards discussed above - Halo, Halo 2, etc. However, with the mods I can't play online...so I just bought the PC version and fell in love with Red vs. Blue. The other XBOX games I'm big on are: KOTOR (1&2) Battlestar Gallactica (love the classic sounds, voices) Older Need for Speeds GTA: Vice City Republic Commando Pretty good on BF2, a total newbie on RvB, but my tag is Schwartz. Oooh, gamers! ![]() I'm a PC man myself - never got into consoles. If it doesn't have a mouse, I can't play it. I cut down on gameplay lately, but I still get my weekly fix of City of Heroes - the game is fun, and although it does get tedious, it's a way of playing with my old friends back in France, so I'm not letting it go. I've played Titan Quest, finished it on the first setting. I doubt I can try and finish again though. It's fun, but not that fun. I tried Oblivion, was blown away by the graphics, had lots of fun and little sleep for a while - and then got really bored with the game. For an open world, the gameplay is pretty limited once you've mastered your skills, gotten to the top armour and learned how to enchant it. ![]() I bought X3-Reunion, and I should get playing at some point. I do a bit of Day of Defeat sometimes, some Dawn of War when I feel like some RTS (I usually don't, not my style, but I do love the Warhammer 40k universe), and even a bit of Sims 2 every 2 or 3 months. But the one that still has my love is Civilization. ![]() And of course, I wait for Spore... Cpl Saincantin, J. A07/TQ0.0.82143E1 |
