Post subject:  Boy Scout costume party
It was a total success! Everyone was stunned by our outfits.
Rex as Anakin Skywalker (AOTC version) and I in full USCM gear. The kids and adults were blown away. As expected, the PR and Motion Tracker were big hits! They all dug the armor too, and asked what it was made of. Their eyes got big as I paused and said in an official voice: ".090 ABS"...:D :lol:

It was way cool.

One of the dad's there was totally blown away by the USCM gear. He asked if I ever wanted to do a short movie. Talk about a "Doh!" moment!! :D :D

He asked if anymore were nearby, I figured Dave would be up for it, so I volunteered you bro! Hope it's okay! ;) :D
And Rex has a set as well. He brought his boy over and they talked about it, said they are going to buy a digital video camera, editing software, etc. Talked about a script, etc. Natcherly, I put forth my opinions about Colonial Marines and what they do...
;)

We'll see if it comes to happen...

But, it was fun all the way!

Short movie = big coolness factor.

Hope it works out for you. I'm gonna go bug my roomate so he starts thinking about his own movie urges again! :D

:lol: :lol: :lol: Now, nothing like that bro! So far, I threw out ideas like a Twilight Zone episode, where either a "local" finds himself in the middle of a "hunt" where survivors of a Colonial Marine squad, using Motion Trackers and PR's blast away at unseen menaces... accompanied by a fitting soundtrack...

How the Marines react to this, some good locations- I know of a oak forest w/ nice rock formations that's easily accessible...

We could get a nice bit of interplay between the Marines and the local, with the Marines discussing strategy, and excellent combat scenes, both entrenced in cover, retreating while providing covering fire, going back for the local who's paralyzed with fear at all this...

Never quite see who or what the Marines are firing at. Are they Aliens? Predators? or something else?

Possibilities...
