The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

OMG Hoooooooo-Rah! My Spat USCM armor was waiting for me when we got back from the show!!!
:D :D :D :D

It is...awesome. I am sooooo happy with it!!! Love the camo paint job, love the attention to detail, most especially, love the quality!

Marines, this armor is THE armor to get in my opinion. It arrives, finished, weathering done, great detail again.

And no, I'm not going to take pics of it. Cuz, I got the exact armor Spat showed off in his thread!!!! :D

Yes, I got the soon-to-be famous armor with the codpiece has the "mud flap chick! Woooooo-hooooooo!!! ;) 8)

Hooooo-rah!

Okay fellow Marines,

I finally got the chance to fit my brand-new SpatArmor.

Took about 6 minutes!! Yep, the workmanship is friggin' outstanding! Strapped the legs on, ab next, and the chest armor went on sooooo smooooothly, I couldn't believe it. Waaaaaaaay different than my previous set from somewhere else...

And another thing I couldn't believe. How damn comfortable it is to wear. No pinching, grabbing, sliding, nothing. Now I know how you guys all felt at DCon6 wearing SpatArmor!

I'm sitting here at the keyboard wearing full Colonial Marine armor. Comfortably.

Think about that. Wearing full SpatArmor and doing "whatever" comfortably. I can move around easily, sit, stand, "whatever". Okay Sarge, lead that charge up that dang hill this time!! I can move comfortably right alongside you now!!! ;)

SpatArmor- It will make you Hoooooooo-Rah!!

Only if everyone keeps up with me! ;)

Glad to hear the new Sparmor is great Rex! Spat does make the best affordable set there is- ready to wear straight out of the box (so I'm told at least ;) ;) ).

Looks neat! :D

Questions for you, actually:

- Are you wearing MAA BDUs?

- I noticed the non-reflective rank insignia on the collar - as far as I could tell, you're the only one wearing them in the group. How come?

Still, these are some good looking marines there! :D

The word is deux. :) It's pronounced "duh" but roll you tongue in a little bit as though you were making a tube with it. Now you're saying deux. Deaux would be pronounced... well like Homer's annoyed grunt.

Although that's how it would be pronouced... it's not even a word. :)

Jealous? Moi?

Questions and Answers
The bdus are by MAA- made of cotton twill, very comfortable

Collar rank insignia- They weren't in the film, but Dom and I think they add a little more to the "coolness factor" of the Colonial Marines- ;) :D

That's fair enough! - I was just wondering if they were maybe NOT supposed to be worn with BDUs. Thanks! :)

Mmh... Are they worn point up or down?

Sorry. Bottomless pit of annoying questions here. Like a little talkative Sarlac. :P
