Maybe some of you have actually been apart of the armed forces for your country ect ,or even are to this day, I just want to give all of you hugs and warm thoughts.

I recieved a letter this morning from a friend of mine (via my mum) that is in the Iraq. I haven't heard from him in 5 years, he wrote me to tell me his wife was killed in action, over three months ago and how he and the rest of his troup are not doing so well do to various issues beyond their control. The letter was short, but sweet and a reminder that you are important to someone, he had wrote me and not his family to tell me of the events.

Hug who you love today. The feelings you have for someone, share it with them, never let them doubt or have to guess.

I know we play this cosplay game, but somehow, because of that I feel a smidge closer to our various countries soilders.

Sorry....not to be a downer, but, it just...had to be said.

I know all to well how short life can be. Its good to be reminded though.

And as for the troops over there....I have several former students over there. This weekend 2 more graduate the Corps.

Not a day goes buy I dont think about them.
