The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

MEMORIES? You mean it finally fell out of favour? Kids are still playing with inbred Italian plumbers, but Street Fighter has become a memory... what a world!

The SF2 dream still lives on for me. I may have sold my SNES on eBay, but I still play it on xbox Live arcade. That and Doom

SF never gets old. It's one of those I can always pick up and play, dated graphics and all.

Indeed, SF is a classic.....like Mario. Yes, I compared it to the Italian Stallion and I won't take it back. I've always been a huge fan of the series, and after picking up Marvel. Vs. Capcom 2 a while back, it's all I play.

Sometimes when I'm playing a way dated game like that it almost helps the graphics to take my glasses off:lol:

Just as a side note on this. A friend of mine has asked me to help him get a group of people together to do Street Fighter at DC 08.

LMAO

I know...08. Heh.

He wanted to do it this year, but my plate is full.....or I could always do one more costume, which would make # 8. (That's right, Mr. Cyclops I'm cheating on you with another costumer. :P )

Awesome!

I was always partial to the ladies. My love affair with Chun Li is rather long running.

Dude! I just watched X-Men 3 for the first time two weeks ago (or whenever it came out on dvd).

Talk about being bummed! :(

Mind you- did you watch all the way to the end of the credits? ;)

(Pssst! Nobody ruin it for Dave ;) )

I didn't much like X-Men 3. Apart from being a good action film, it just didn't have alot of saving qualities and I would have preferred it had followed the comics more in the....actual marvel universe and not one of the side universes.

Yeah, let's not get me started on the crap that they created. :(

Josh Holloway - the guy who plays Sawyer on Lost? He was offered the role of Gambit - they wrote the part of Gambit in, specificlly for him- and he turned it down because, "It was too much like his other characters."

WTF?! You dumbass.....they could have made an entire movie just centering around Remy LeBeau!!!!

Argh - now I'm pissy alredy this morning thinking about it again ;)

Yeah I watch it to the end... :P Still doesn't make up for the whole mess though. <sigh> It could have been a great series if they kept the storyline more to the comics. At least I still have spiderman.

I'm in the category of "ignorance is bliss". I never read a single X-Men comic ever before seeing the films.

I was into Batman and Justice League many moons ago (in fact when "Batman" came out in '89- I was one of those people who was banging their head over the choice of Keaton as Batman-- only to be proven wrong ;) ).

Now however, I want to start collecting- in particular Volverine (any surprise here? ;) ).

If you're into Wolvi Kev, you might be interested in the Origin series. Basically, all those "i wonder what wolvi was like before the adamantium and the memory loss" questions you had are finally answered.
