My leatherworking extrordinare is already working on a couple projects for me, I'm thinking of asking her about doing some Gerber MK II repro sheaths. We can get the resin knives easily enough, but the sheaths are another story...

If I could impose on a brother Marine to post pics with their original sheath w/ a ruler for specs, I'd mucho appreciate it!!

Do you mean the leather sheath, or the cordura sheath? I believe the one hudson had used a leather sheath.

Can anyone else corroborate this?

see how thick it is, my cordura sheath is no where as thick as his is, also the restraining strap is diffrent
