The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I have one of the preview ones left over from SDCC and it's a more pastel coloured print than this one, but still awesome. 8)

I asked Jason if this version differed from the original:
Quote:
@PVBuk Yes, this one is fully painted. And larger, 17" x 22". And it's available with a double mat that fits an 18" x 24" frame.

That is very nice, love Castle it is a great show.

Quote:
I am in awe of your collection. I just started watching Castle on Hulu. Need to catch up on the previous seasons. Since you and Andy got me watching Firefly I was able to pick up a few things. First being the series and Serenity movie Blu Ray. Being late to the party, QMX and ebay have been major sources of items.

QMX Fruity Oat Girls
QMX Money Packs
QMX 10 Anniversary Poster
QMX Keep Flyin' Prints
QMX Metal Plated Mal Serenity Pistol
QMX LDH Serenity, any larger scale looks like paper model of Firefly for me as I cannot swing the price for TBDR Serenity.
Food Bar made out of soap, waiting on the run of soft 1:1 scale bars.
Dark Horse Serenity Ornament
Diamond Select Mal Serenity bust
Phil Firefly Mal Pistol Casting, thanks Rex!
Wilco Firely Mal Pistol Casting
Cheap Jayne Grenade
Tracey Can of Beans and Opener, still looking for the micro radio to make the recorder.
Serenity Offical Visual Companion
Leather Bound Firefly: A Celebration book
Jayne Serenity Binky Knife
Table Windmill Tin, not screen used but same found item.
Various Coins in Canvas Bag
Production PAL
47a All Metal Firefly Mal Pistol, I lucked out on this and got to build it myself. It is heavy as all heck. Need a stand.

Hopefully when I make my way over there next year I can stop and say hello. Again I love your collection.

Thanks!

Greg

Fantastic collection there Greg, colour me jealous on the 47a, that was a damn fine catch you made sir! :D

At work I have a few colleagues who I've loaned a Firefly DVD boxset to in the past and then they've become as big a fan of the Verse as I am.

One told me today that his wife's expecting a girl in a few months and top of their list for her name is......River. :D

Made me feel proper proud, that did. 8)

Greg, you've got one helluva collection!!

PVB! What's next on the horizon for ya bro?

For me...oh, since you asked!

I just upgraded my 1/6th Mal with a new stand sticker- the Firefly logo, looks pretty darn shiney to me!

A 1/6th Jayne Cobb just moved farther up the list! Have stockpiled the pants, boots, Brit ankle wraps, (what the heck are they called again??)
a very cunning hat...and a brown t-shirt. Had this for a number of years...but I just got a Blue Sun t-shirt transfer!! Yes, to scale!! Wooo-Hooo!

Now to save up for that headsculpt...which will require a taller, muscular body as well... it begins!

Yeah, don't think I'll be doing the entire crew...be nice, but don't think so

Probably nothing for a while, due to financial meltdown in the bank account department.

When I'm at Cons I usually use my G36C for my Scout kit.

My pistol is an early model of what you see Jayne using in Firefly. (As the events of Firefly take place well after the Battle of Serenity Valley. The 76th represents a Battalion on the way to this last battle of the Unification War.)

I'll post some pics here soon! I just got the proof pic of Sgt Todd's facial tattoo- it turned out Brilliant! Just approved the stand "decal/sticker" today, looking outstanding! Now just deciding on which body to use for Todd- several "muscular" bodies out there...

PVB- understand my friend, understand! I'm selling off props/costumes to try and raise funds.

Agustus G. - Seriously AWESOME Firefly collection dude, seriously awesome!!

It's not a big venue, so don't delay! 8)

Cool! Are you testing Steve or is it just an advance copy? (I say 'just' like it's nothing, it is of course very cool either way!)

The first batch were on sale at Gen Con, with a Con Special Alliance Cruiser play piece:

It'll probably be on sale over here eventually, but I thought I'd get in early.

Picked up the game from my local parcel depot today. 8)

The box is surprisingly heavy, due to all the card pieces being on very thick card (about 3-4mm thick) along with several packs of cards, a big wad of cashy money and the main playing board on equally thick card.

Here's a pic showing most of what's in the box, apart from several game card packs sitting underneath the player boards which the Alliance Cruiser is sitting on at top-left:

Just finished my brother's Christmas present (not cutting it close at all right???). Because I tried scratch build everything except the denix pistol foundation, this was a lot harder than I ever could have imagined! I hope he likes it.

Here is a little 'before/middle & after' action.
