The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I had a tough time getting everything ready for Helloween this year, but it was half-fast done. As opposed to half-slow. ;)

It will be more finished next year...

Excellent photoshopping Dom!

I agree, as a secondary costume. (I've got several of those...) Sunday would be a good day for me to GB as well. I'm assuming Sunday mid-morning, until late afternoon?

I can't believe that after being talked into coming to DCon06 by Chris, with two costumes, that now I have such a friggin' list of costumes to bring, that a schedule of "appearances" must be done!!

Sat- no ifs, ands or buts- All Freakin' Day is Colonial Marine Day!!

There's an FAQ at Ghostbuster Int'l here on how to put your suit together.

The elbow pads are made by Markwort, for sale here, the gloves are USGI NBC gloves, the radio is a Motorolla MT 500, the Ecto-Goggles are AN/PVS-5 NVG goggles (click here to see my version). Click here to see my GB kit.

Yep! I'm the ringleader of that shabang. :P There is about 25-30 characters called so far. Some are duplicates, but its fairly popular.

I will be She-ra. Rex is supposed to be Man-At-Arms, but he keeps getting busy. :P

Heh- what a terrible pic of me.

I should be ready with an authoritative captainy pose at all times when I wear my Trek uniform. ;)

Just to get back on track... ;)

I've always wanted a GB uniform since I first saw the film in the theaters. I actually made myself one when I was 14 years old! Basically it was a tan sweatshirt and track pants, with a homemade nuclear accelerator made out of a cardboard box, rubber hose, and a wooden dowel for the gun tube (or whatever you call the thing the stream comes out of ;) ).

Of course I'd love to have one these days... but money is a big factor. Not to mention finding the time/place to wear it.

"I know I'm human. And if you were all these things, then you'd just attack me right now, so some of you are still human. This thing doesn't want to show itself, it wants to hide inside an imitation. If it takes us over, then it has no more enemies, nobody left to kill it. And then it's won."

I hear ya bro!! Money gets right in the way of things sometimes...perhaps things might work out in the middle of the upcoming year for you too to work on a GB costume. Derek has some really good ideas for one that are pretty cost effective. You might want to check with him, just for the heck of it!;)

And no, I'm not Kahnning you. ;)

And yes Kevin, I still owe you that video. It's coming...
