The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Rifles and Scots - Allan would definitely have an easier time on the uniform.

Steampunk is still fairly new to me, so I was doing a little research and stumbled across this forum, brass goggles.
Not sure if it is common knowledge or not.

Any of you seen Mutant Chronicles yet? Steampunk ideas are featured throughout the film.

Not something I know that much about, myself...

Elements of Steampunk are in Thief II: The Metal Age (PC game).
There's also people who've made Steampunk PCs, laptops and peripherals, all of which are fully functional and lovely to see.

Have also seen a working Steampunk motorcycle or two.

From the description:
"We rehearse deep in the Belly of the HMS Ophelia, in our Post Apocalypse Studio. Its a Steampunk thing, you wouldn't understand...or would you?"

((Edit: Just found out they were at Dragon Con this year.. FRAK!))

They're an OK band, but nothing special I find.

To be honest, as much as I love Steampunk, I don't find their music particularly... steampunky. They dress steampunk, they sing about steampunk things, but the music itself doesn't really have a character that sets it aside.

Or maybe it's just me. I love "Airship Pirates" though. :D

Well I began my build this last weekend.
Mine will be 1935-1945 themed,
(does that still qualify as steampunk?)
and will incorporate at least one Sci-fi
film, Star wars, and pending Spats help,
might include a bit of U.S.M.C. parts as well.
Of course it will have a bit of brass/bronze
parts and a few other odds and ends.

So I guess you could say Challenge Accepted.
Build Pics, once I have made some decent progress,
will be coming.
