The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Just got mine today.

Initial reactions to the Xbox 360 version...

The sound seems much better. Clearer and cleaner.
Character creation is more of the same with a few additions.

It will be nice to try the other insturments with the same character.

The new Guitar is less "clicky" on the buttons... and more clicky on
the strumbar. *shrug* The Faux wood on the neck and headstock
is real nice looking. Kind of on par with the Marui Thompson faux
wood finish.

Only got to play it for about an hour or so, but looking forward to
getting into it further... and seeing if the new guitar is backwards
compatible with Guitar Hero. :)

my hand is still in a claw from playing Rock Band 1 round at a mates all day over the weekend.

Got Guitar Hero World Tour on pre-order with all the instruments, then I'll pick up RB2 as just the game.

I thought it hit ps3 this week too. I know M$ had a 1 month exclusive on the game, but that was the game only and not the set with all the insturments.

EDIT: I was in Target today and they had the PS3 boxed set for $190.

I'm going to be pre-ordering Guitar Hero: World Tour for the PS3 n the next few days. Probably.

It's £150!

I've already got GH 1, 2, 3, and Rocks the 80's all for the PS2. I've been playing GH III a lot during the last few days, in preperation.

Just ordered Little Big Planet as well :D It's a shame that it's been delayed because of some book quotes that are in a licenced song that was released two years ago (though no-one seemed to mind at the time).

I've been looking all over the place for a price lower than £149 (voucher codes, or sales, etc), but nothing turned up. I then got paranoid about the wording on the websites saying "While stocks last" on the free bass guitar (which everyone is offering). I wanted to know if stocks were still there, and I almost decided to go into a shop to ask if there was stock left on the free guitar and get one like that.

In the end I ordered it from HMV earlier tonight, as it didn't say "While stocks last", so I could have a freak out on them if I don't get it, and demand it.

At the price it is, I expect no-one has sold out, but I'm still a bit worried. They should all say if they have stock left on their sites.
