The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Yeah...you could say she had a good "opening"...hehe

I had one of her movies back when she was 16 and getting started...I never should have let my old boss borrow it....I never saw it again.....(maybe I should turn him in for under age porn..lol)

She also had a killer techno album called 1000 Fires.....

It all goes back to pr0n.

For me- Saving Private Ryan.

I rented it for the first time in 2004 and remember being numb after the first 15 minutes.

Ghost Ship.

The movie was crap, but after that opening scene, you can't turn the movie off.

Loved that album. I think it's still floating around here somewhere.

I love A New Hope, and also Serenity.

I know exactly what you mean, I saw it in the cinema and I've never seen or heard such a still, quiet cinema after the opening scenes. Mind blowing.

A personal favourite of mine is Children of Men (shock, eh?). Sets the tone of the movie perfectly...
