The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

This thing has been bugging me just as much as him methinks.

The original thread might have been as old as 2004 on the previous board. :o

Kev, of course you found it. Someone had said it sounded like a twilight zone. How did you find it? And , thank you!

Well... unfortunately I can't take all the credit.

A couple of days ago I thought I'd have a go at it again so I put the line into a Google search.

The first hit was from a message board- it was the title of a thread in which they were discussing time travel movies.

So... boldfaced me I joined the board and flat out explained our situation- asking if anyone knew what movie/tv show this was from.

A day later someone had replied that it was from an episode of the The Twilight Zone- however they didn't quite know the correct title of the episode.

After a little bit of cross referencing- I had finally found the elusive line!

Gave me such a feeling of victory! :D

That figures. Thanks again. I was imagining you on the couch clicking around and then all of the sudden yelling "Honey, STOP! Go Back! No, the other channel! Wait, you past it... It's the Push the button line!"

If so, then the line was written after the fact, as I've seen arguments about where that came from going way back before H2G2 came out.

That line was probably taken directly from the books...which have been around forever. I never saw the movie, and I remember that line, it is so familiar to me. Maybe it was in the original TV series?

It was also in the Radio Show, which I assume they also said it in the Brit TV Show which was from the early 80's.
