The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Yes... I have the M36A CN-20 Nerve gas shell... it's nice.

A few problems though...

1- The calibre of his shells are a little too big to be realistic (minor detail)

2- Derek, it's forbidden to list eBay items here unless they're yours.

:)

Per forum rules:

Q: Can I post or advertise auctions on the board?
A: Auctions (active or pending) may be posted provided you
comply with the following community rules:

(A) Either: You are the seller, or...
(B) You know that the "screen used" item in question is a
fake and the item in question is not part of a larger auction of items, or...
(C) The auction has ended.

THIS WAS NOT AN ACTIVE AUCTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IT WAS AN EBAY STORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE LIST STORES HERE SELLING THINGS ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THERE WAS NO REASON FOR REMOVAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's really not a problem, Derek. Actually, the forum rules have been re-written but have yet to be uploaded. You are not supposed to list any grenade auctions, ebay stores offering such items, or talk about any pulse rifle grenades.... except for the most excellent ones tommin makes. :D

I would've thought the post would be okay because, as he said, it was an ebay store and not an auction. That means there is no "fouling up another member who's watching the auction" factor, which is the entire reason for "no ebay posts" rules to begin with (as I understand them).

Certainly willing to follow the rules in either event but a clarification would help prevent future boo boos. ;)

It's clear that eBay stores are currently a grey area - I've flagged the issue up with Rook and we'll be making a decision very soon.

Please bear with us for a few hours.

Ooops... I must have missed that clause...

Good point about the eBay store and it not being an auction. We do in fact link to sellers of USCM items... just because it is hosted by eBay it has fallen into the so-called "grey area"

As usual, our moderators will adjudicate as wisely as Solomon.

We've discussed it, and since most eBay STORE itenms are items regularly offered, giving everyoen an equal chance at the items in question, postings of links to eBay stores are allowed, and the rule clarification has been added.

Again, to clarify:

Quote:
Q: Can I post or advertise auctions on the board?
A: Auctions (active or pending) may only be posted provided you
comply with the following community rules:

(A) Either: You are the seller, or...
(B) You know that the "screen used" item in question is a
fake and the item in question is not part of a larger auction of items, or...
(C) The auction has ended. OR...
(D) The item is a regularly offered item in an eBay store.

Thanks for the understanding guys, and thanks for the heads up Derek!

I can see Dom at a Frag Whore Anonymous (FWA) meeting.

Everyone is sitting in a circle. Dom is wearing his "Peace Thru Superior Firepower" T-Shirt, BDU pants, jungle boots and dog tags. The facilitator motions for Dom to introduce himself. Dom stands up, clears his throat and with a look of confidence, he speaks.

Dom: "Hi. My name is Dom"
Class: "Hi Dom"
Dom: "I am a frag whore"
Class: ~claps~

Wouldn't that be more like...

Dom: "Hi. My name is Dom"
Class: "Hi Dom"

Dom stands up, pulls 2 grenades and pops the plastic caps off, depressing the plungers.

Dom: "I am a frag whore"
Class: ~claps~

:D

LOL!! Dom is the frag whore!!

I kinda like that nerve gas one...have it hanging off a strap or something so everyone can read the label...

Seems kinda expensive though, with the exchange rate, what doest that price work out to? $25+ incl. shipping?

Should be more like...

Dom: "Hi. My name is Dom"
Class: "Hi Dom"

I stand up, pull 2 grenades and pops the plastic caps off, depressing the plungers.

Dom: "You always were @ssholes, class"
Class explodes.

Thanks for the comments guys... Eventually when my QM runs dry, I'll change my title under my screen name to "Frag Whore"

I have two of them on my armour bandolier, unfortunately, you don't see the label. UK exchange is roughly double in USD.
